There is a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance (Ecclesiastes 3:4). And it is time to dance! This program will worship the Lord through dance. Coastal Dance is a performance-based dance school dancing to Christian music, focusing on ballet technique, leaps & turns, offering lyrical, contemporary, tap, and hip-hop dance styles.
We will have two dance reviews throughout the dance season, a community performance along with being a part of the Brooksville Christmas Parade. All costs will be included in your monthly tuition. This program is truly to teach the love for dance, inspiring worship.

Changes for Spring 2022 Semester:

  • All classes 6 & up run on a Wednesday.

  • Please discuss with Ms. Heather if your dancer's birthday falls in the middle of the semester or if you believe your dancer is ready to move up a class.

  • All payments to be made at the beginning of the semester unless a payment plan is set up. (New this year: Rates are based per semester, NOT monthly.)

  • NO parents allowed in the main auditorium, kitchen, or dance room during lesson time. However, our resource center will be open Jan 2022 to those parents who wish to stay. This is located on the left side of our building and has its own entrance/exit. This is also a quiet place if you would like to use it as a space to teach/tutor your other children who are not dancing. In addition, our long-term parking will be expanded, and we hope to have outdoor seating available for anyone who would like to visit outside during class. You are always welcome to drop off and come back for pick-up. We love our visitors, but I really want to keep our dancers focused. I will set up parent review days throughout the semester to show you what they are working on.

  • ALL DANCERS will enter at the kitchen entrance. The main doors will remain locked during lesson time. This is to keep the floors clean and noise levels down. Please use the restroom in between classes.  My goal: to keep our dancers focused and to begin teaching more intricate choreography while each & every one of them grow in their technique and love for dance!

Mother/Daughter (& Sons too) Class

This class will run in the evening once a month and will focus on ballet/hip hop while having fun with our talented girls & boys! For those who are up for it, they can perform in our Spring Review!

Dad’s Dance

If I can get enough dads interested, we will hold our FIRST EVER Coastal Dad’s Dance to GOOD GOD ALMIGHTY by Crowder! We will hold 2 practices end of March, early April on a Saturday or Sunday to prepare for one awesome performance. Ask those dads now and we will get it on the schedule! I promise not a huge commitment but will have a huge impact on your littles.
